The Clock Tower of Popayán

Called 'the nose of Popayán', the Clock Tower stands on the corner of Caldas Park. It was built between 1673 and 1682 and the single pointer clock was donated by the priests of the city in 1737. 💡Curiosities The 1983 earthquake caused damage, but it was repaired without having to move a single one of the 90,000 bricks that make up its structure.
