Morro de Tulcán

It is the main pre-Columbian and archaeological monument of the city. It was originally a cemetery of the indigenous people of the pubenences, where the gods were worshipped. When building a road it was found that this hill was not natural, but contained multiple tombs and archaeological remains of great historical importance. 💡Curiosities It has a monument in honor of the founder of the city, Sebastián de Belalcázar. From this place you can appreciate a magnificent panorama of the city.
